The mental health of teens has been a growing concern in our society. There is a stigma surrounding this topic, and it is seldom discussed causing many teens to struggle in silence. That’s why on February 8th, there will be a mental health awareness night, to help smash the stigma surrounding mental health. This event is available to all students and staff at WSHS. It will take place Waterville Senior High School’s Trask Auditorium from 7-9 pm. There will be trivia on mental health, prizes, short presentations, and personal stories followed by a group discussion. There will also be resources for all who attend. Let’s start a conversation! We hope to see you there! This event is sponsored by Waterville High’s G.R.I.T group, Waterville High STAND, The Yellow Tulip Project, and Seeds of Peace.
