Our Waterville-Winslow swim team had a great night this past Friday, Feb 1, against rival Messalonskee.   The girls lost but did a truly wonderful job against a talented team with superior numbers. The boys won by one point!

Leah Shoulta set two individual records. She achieved her goal of getting the 200 IM record with a time of 2:18.46. She also beat her old record in the 100 back with a time of 1:04:46.

The girls broke the longstanding 400 free relay with a time of 4:03.63. The order of that relay was: Molly Wasilewski, Ebba Heaton-Jones, Emma Farnham, Leah Shoulta.

Winslow swimmer Eric Booth broke the Winslow 100 fly record with a time of 58:04.

Congratulations to Coach Giroux and our swim team for an outstanding regular season!  Good luck at the KVAC Championship on Saturday!
